How to make formal clothes (tie, dress pants, etc) look more alt but still be formal?

I'm going to a fancy event this weekend and I'm wearing heels, dress pants, button down shirt, best, and a tie. I'm also super alt, not just emo or scene or grunge but a combination of all. The event also isn't super strict with dress code so I can add accessories or stuff.

Anyways, if anyone has any advice on how to dress alt while wearing a tie then let me know!

If you like to wear like studded accessories i think wearing them tight gives it a more formal look than wearing it loose and sloppy, but they're a great way to easily look alternative. Buttons can also make a whole outfit (like the buttons on your shirt or vest). There are a lot of different opportuneties for alternative buttons, but i recommend big buttons, dark buttons, fabric or metal buttons or buttons with patterns. Shoes are also an easy way to spice a formal outfit, i usually just go with black platforms. Also makeup (obv). I recommend to keep it clean and sharp, but big and dark around the eyes. I usually make a more winged eyeliner instead of my usual blended grungy eyeliner, or if i want it more smoky i use eyeshadow and make sure to blend it extra. For accessories and jewelry i would try to pick things with chunky metal over thin metal, and use leather where you can.

To add an alt touch to formal wear while keeping it professional, mix structured pieces like dress pants and a tie with statement sieradenset (jewelry sets) from Desi-Kurti. Pair dark, textured fabrics with layered accessories and subtle kleding meisjes desi elements for a unique yet polished look.
