One of the most popular yaoi i read was BJ Alex, its a Manhwa, it have a lot of sex but, theres a good ending and i think thats enough.
Sukisyo Visual Novel is so cool, there are four games but only the first one is available with english translation, i recommend it a lot, its cute but the backstory its... so much dark that it seems.
Same with DRAMAtical Murder but DRAMAtical Murder its amazing, everything about the VN is precious.
And then there are some Yaoi/BL animes/movies like Sasaki to Miyano, Given, Doukyuusei.
Plus, one of my favourites Yaoi is Kimera, is the most bizarre but cool OVA i've ever seen, i dont know if this is a good recommendation, but its an old and forgotten OVA that deserve just a bit of popularity.

I can recommend "lost in the cloud" - or if you already read it, "spinach bouquet" is a similar one - and in my opinion even better than lost in the cloud !! (shounen ai, sfw and highschool romance thing)
for short nsfw manhwas I really liked "Drivers high" or "Release your persona"
more mainstream Bls like "Bj Alex" or "Roses and Champagne" were really nice too, and their fanbase around social media seems pretty large.
Cute/ Fluffy Bl Manhwas are my fav - "Cheeky habits of my Rabbits", "Punch drunk love", "Love of Cloud and Rain" and "A Bed for three" (Poly)
I really like the historical genre, so feel free to try out "Frenemies" and "Painter of the Night" (There's also "haunted by desire", but this Manhwa includes a lot of Horror and g0r3, don't read it if you have a light stomach)

If you want something darker, I've read the "Sadistic Beauty" Bl side stories, and the same Autor released something called "Walk in my shoes" (also known as "revenge"). There's also a very disturbing oneshot called "Pufferfish and Dolphins", or a Manhwa that the Lost in the Cloud Autor released: "sheeps mask". Please always read the trigger warnings and take them seriously. These "Bl's" often include g0r3, r4p3 and phsychological 4bvs3, and other aspects that can be triggering.

I love love love Ennead, though there are lots of unbearable and inhumane mistreatment the uke goes through, the storyline is worth it, I have been so invested in the story and how it would end but it is still not there yet, i started reading it when i was like 17 and i am past my teenage years and its still ongoing but its been there for me all these time kind of get the feeling like kim dokja reading his novel lmao. i hope you will like it

I don't know if you've already read it, but if you're the type who enjoys content with sad but bittersweet and romantic themes, you might like Kimi no yoru ni fureru.
Another very good and short manga I read, which doesn't really have much romance (since it's just heartbreaking LOL) is Home Far Away, This manga is so visually beautiful that it feels almost like watching a movie.
If you are the type who likes silly and healthy romances, I recommend the manga My Love Mix Up/ Kieta Hatsukoi.
Recommendations of some that I personally enjoyed a lot (that had sexual content) (mahwas and mangas) are Red String Quest, Bongchon Bride, Come to Hand, Hajime no Koi, Lion Gotoki no Kuni Kara and Kono to wo Hanasanaide

Cherry Magic is my confort zone. It's funny, with one of the healthiest couples I've seen in Bl, has a lot of adaptations (manga,anime,japanese and thai live actions, even a musical). 10/10
Doukyuusei is a manga with a healthy main couple, and a beautiful artstyle. The only thing I didn't like were the secondary couples because of the age difference. But aside from that, it's a beautiful manga.
Gambare Nakamura-kun, also really funny (I love MC's with no social skills). The artstyle is SO cute and you get easily attached to Nakamura. AND it's getting an anime adaptation for 2026!
