you cant really get someone to fall for you, it just happens
if youre worried that hes been distant lately because you think youre being too pushy then try to talk to him about it, figure out if its that or not
if it is, then you two can set some boundaries and hopefully that can make him be less distant
if it isnt because of that, figure out what it is thats causing him to be distant and try to work around that (if hes busy a certain day then make plans to do something another day sort of thing)
