I wanted to see what others played with during their youth because I know I've played games like Gauntlet 2, Paperboy and stuff however my most fav?
My Favorite is Earthworm Jim, I'm super in love with the art-style and the random silliness in it, it is always excreting so much creativity with the ideas and new mechanics that is has!
...Lets just not talk about Earthworm Jim 3D lol

Not sure what actually qualifies as retro particularly, but I really loved Daggerfall. Daggerfall Unity is a great way to play it these days too, but back in the day it was great (even if I had no idea what I was doing). Otherwise, Civ II and Transport Tycoon were the absolute best

I'm a fan of the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy. Each game boasts challenging and fun level design, and great music. My personal favorite track is "Mining Melancholy" from the second game.

playin I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream is one retro game I can think off the top of my head , it was p cool except i had a hard time figuring out the puzzles so i had to use a guide to play lol

F-Zero X and F-Zero GX
Both are wayyyy too underrated
I'm still waiting for the next F-Zero game
