Season 1 summed up

In the city of Hackensack, New Jersey, 14-year-old Jake Wheeler buys a Good Guy doll at a yard sale to use it in his contemporary art project during the Halloween season. He later discovers that the doll is possessed by the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray, known as Chucky.

In season 1 we get to see more of the lore of Chucky/Charles. We learn more about Chucky's life as a kid and find out that he's always been a fan of murder. 

We are introduced to the main trio and some actors we will see throughout the series playing different characters.
