I joined the community fur a number of reasonz.

1. I am a therian/otherkin, and generally refer 2 myself as ‘nonhuman’ (if I feel safe 2 do so)
2. I am autistic, and us autistic individualz are often dehumanized. (Being called emotionless robotz, usually)
3. I am aroace-spec, and people always say ‘romantic/sexual attraction is a part of being human!!!’ And itz soooo dehumanizing 
4. I’m nonbinary (self explanatory I feel)

So when I discovered voidpunk, I realized i had found a community I enjoyed being in and related to and that was filled with other ppl like me.

Fur me, voidpunk is a bit like being a cryptid. (Which makez sense bc I’m mothmankin) I want 2 show up in blurry picturez, and have reflective eyez in photographz. I grow out my nailz in2 clawz, I want to have sharper teeth. I want people 2 see me as a creature, the kind you might see in the woodz or in a forgotten VHS tape.
