i see so many conflicting cases of the process of becoming a teacher, let alone teaching art. i wanna teach highschool or maybe college. I see some ppl say u can just jump straight in and get ur certifications but others say u need a 4 year degree? its all so confusing @_@

I think it depends on the country's regulations. For example, here, you have to study for a minimum of 4 years to get a professional Bachelor's degree. Only then you can, technically, teach.
Plus, let me warn you - teaching can be a pain. Be prepared to be both proud and disappointed when going into it.
