I need documentation to make a comparison of Unix based kernels to the NT kernel

I can't find any documentation on the NT kernel that even describes what its structure is and various functions it does, can I get help in finding it? I am trying to write a blog that is a dictionary of FOSS and Linux terms and I figured comparing the Linux kernel to the NT kernel would help better understand what makes Linux unique. Any leads would be appreciated!
