personally, my comfort books are The Darkangel Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce; it's a story about finding your own way and loving yourself, and when i'm feeling down due to adult responsibilities, i'll pick one of those books up and to remind myself that i am only human and the best things i can do are learn and grow
