just plain curiosity.  What is the problem with Neocities?  I signed up a few weeks ago and I really enjoy it.  If there is an overarching problem then I understand but I'm curious/nm

Oh i love neocities! its what host my main domain. nothing is wrong with it. lexi's is just like neocities except it has backend support and she gives you access to your own database. so theres alot more you can do with it. she even has tutorials on how you can upate neocities and lexiqqq at the same time

pretty cool! i suggest you adding support for postgresql since it's also the most widely-used database server as well!
