opinions on pray for the wicked?

i know people's opinions on pray for the wicked are PRETTY divided, so i was curious to know if anyone else has any strong opinions on it, or just any opinion at all? i think it's my least favorite album despite bopping along to a lot of the songs. i guess i'm just not a fan of the pop sound it has compared to all of the other panic! albums, even vlv.

i really do like the more theatric sound brendon's voice took on though (i'm a musical theatre fan, lol), that was kinda cool. though i feel like it might have led unfortunately to whatever happened to his voice in vlv. it sounds super strained in that album. maybe from age and exhaustion?

i think my most favorite song from pray for the wicked is roaring 20s, but my LEAST favorite, and GOD do i HATE it, is high hopes. oh BOOO!!!!!!, clyde, you only hate it because it's popular; i mean YEAH. SORTA. KINDA. oh my GOD it got SO FUCKING POPULAR. and SO OBNOXIOUS. it is literally the ONLY panic! song i will NEVER listen to. my hatred is so strong for that song i literally have it hidden on spotify so it doesn't accidentally come on.

anyway!!!! what are your guys' thoughts!!!!! i am very curious!!!!!!!!
