if you're getting a psp either way--first of all, don't, just get a ps vita and download psp games to that, most of them are on the vita store.

but that aside, if your decision on getting a psp hinges entirely on if you're also getting crisis core, then just get crisis core reunion, it's on just about every modern platform.

i think you should try it out as final fantasy vii reunion. they have it available on way more platforms, including switch, windows, ps4/ps5, xbox one/xbox x/s. it's as faithful as possible to the original, just graphically improved with updated combat
