Waking up in the morning with the sunlight on my face, birds singing and my cats cuddling me. 

This is my favourite part of the day 🙏🏼

That's not stupid at all! There are days when I miss my old woodworking business, and the pleasure of the 'zen' of working my job!

The smell of fresh cut grass. It just makes me feel good. Not sure why. 

I wish I had a better descriptive than the 'freshness' of it lol! Can't wait for that smell come spring  

Having your kitten cuddle up to you is a big one.  X)

And nestle into a deep sleep, purring away!

I enjoy the scenery of my drive to work.  I love the company of my animals too. 

Oh that's a nice one! Still dark on my way into work, but I've been enjoying the early tree blossoms on my commute home as well!

This one's stupid, but it's my own lil simple pleasure.

Coca-cola in a green glass bottle.

When I pop the top, there is this wee puff of vapor in the bottle neck at the very top.

Sure, my brain tells me it's 'science'. Rapidly expanding gas or what not.

But my heart knows it's the tiny spirit of the coke bottle, charged with guarding the freshness of my cold beverage! I take but a moment to thank the spirit then gently blow to release it to wherever it may choose to go! 

Getting to see the feral cats that frequent my backyard eating in peace, knowing that I'm not going to bother them. 

Yes! We have a regular visitor here too!

I was able to take a nice relaxing bubble bath over the weekend.

Like finding two of the good kind of pipe screens when you thought you were out of any type of pipe screen.  :)

Like having the sun come out when the forecast is cloudy.  :)

Like realizing today is the day you get to use your home-made pork stock to make tonight's rice.  :D

Today I overheard my son giving advice to a friend. He was echoing things I've said to him years ago, and I am pleasantly shocked that some things have stuck!

He's such a good man. So proud of him! 

Just listening to a flock of red-winged blackbirds in the trees outside. Dita is fascinated by them, a bunch are around the feeder and she's ak-ak-ak-ak-ak-ing!  X)

I don't mind the rain.

Spring rain has its own mercy. 

The world is alive!

Any moment at work that no one shows up for an innordinately long amount of time and then for a moment peace just settles into my soul. lol.

But when I do remember, it's a great feeling.
