If spacehey is for retrosites, why don't the messages load in a conventional standard browser?

Hello, good evening, a few hours ago I registered in spacehey and I liked the interface and the theme changes. But there is a problem, it is what is shown in the screenshot;  messages do not load. Isn't it a retro site? Or am I misinformed? Thank you
