Reedsy Prompts is a site where you can engage in both loose creative writing competitions as well as weekly contests that, if chosen, you win $250! (Note, a recent update has been implemented: a $5 fee for entering this weekly, paid contest)
I would advise checking it out... I've found that this really encourages me to write out a short story engaging with the various topics... and ofc entering to win the weekly paid contests is exciting! But ofc not always do-able, so doing the free, untimed prompts are also fun and encouraging!
