-do you think your own religion is absolute?

-does religion influence who you are as a person?

Q: Do you think religion should be taught from a young age?
A: I see nothing wrong with that, although I can also see the positions of those who want to introduce their kids to religion when they get older due to the sometimes questionable passages and terminology used in scripture.

Q: Should it be reinforced?
A: Reinforced by parents and guardians? That depends on each family's dynamics. Reinforcement could work for some, but be disastrous for others. I was raised Catholic, so while I was thrown into the deep end of the pool of religious indoctrination at 4 years old, my parents also believed in letting us make a lot of our own choices. Therefore, outside of a few require C.A.P.E. Christian appearances in church every year, religion was not reinforced at home.

Q: Do you think your own religion is absolute?
A: Nope.

Q: Does religion influence who you are as a person?
A: Nope

Q: Does religion play a role in your daily choices?
A: Nope

Q: Does religion or your god/gods play a role in your choices?
A: Nope

Q: Do you think praying on a daily or weekly basis aids or strengthens your relationship with your god/gods/ religion?
A: I believe that it does not. Whatever exists in planes above ours would likely be a being (or beings) of such power that it's likely they are omniscient and thus already aware of one's beliefs and self-perceived relationship with higher powers.

Q: What exactly does praying accomplish?
A: Let me put it this way: It can't hurt.

Q: Do you follow all the rules of your religion?
A: Not all of them. I do not follow the dietary restrictions, that's for sure.

Yes, in an age-appropriate way.  One who truly believes in their religion should be doing this as a matter of principle.  But one should also be accepting of children who question their parents' faith (and parents should have answers ready, whether or not the children agree).

-do you think your own religion is absolute?
John 14:6

-does religion influence who you are as a person?
Yes.

-does religion play a role in your daily choices
Yes.

-does religion or your god/gods play a role in your choices
How exactly is this question different from the last one?

-do you think praying on a daily or weekly basis aids or strengthens your relationship with your god/gods/ religion?
Yes.  When you spend time in God's Word, the Holy Spirit reminds you of the eternal truth and gives you insight about your own life and your relationship with God.

-what exactly does praying accomplish?
That's a surprisingly deep question.  It isn't so simple as trying to influence God, because God is going to do what's in his plan, but the Bible does mention times when God was influenced by people's prayers.  But prayer also helps you with the things mentioned in the above question.

-do you follow all the rules of your religion?
True Biblical Christianity isn't about rules.  Christianity is the idea that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and that he came to Earth and lived with us and died to save people from their sins.  Christians follow God's commandments because we love him and want to live our lives for him, because our lives are not our own, we were bought with Jesus' blood.  And a key tenet of Christianity is that no one is perfect, everyone has fallen short of the glory of God, which is why we need a Savior.  So in that sense, I guess I don't, but no one does.

I think that simple concepts of religion could/should since it’s normally (in the main religions) based on kindness. The basics, how to treat others, how to treat self, the concept of an awareness of having your own relationship with whichever god/s. Aswell as awareness that other religions exist and are okay.

-should it be reinforced?

Nope, encourage, but never push the religion onto the child, belief and faith is a personal journey.

-do you think your own religion is absolute?

Nope. I was raised Roman Catholic on my dads side and orthodox Christian on my moms, byt I’ve sort of come to the conclusion that every religion is right, and that at the same time nothing truly exists. So I’m basically playing every card available.

-does religion influence who you are as a person?

Yes. And I’ve noticed it does the same in other people. I learned that god takes many forms (which is where I got the concept that every religion is correct and that mine is just nothing and everything at this point) but some people are just so rude or make other people life harsh, treat others wrong because they don’t share the same religion.
-does religion play a role in your daily choices

Nope, I barely ever think of it
-does religion or your god/gods play a role in your choices

-same as above
-do you think praying on a daily or weekly basis aids or strengthens your relationship with your god/gods/ religion?

Nope, I believe if there is truly a greater power that cares for anyone than the love should be unconditional. No need to pray but I do leave a few offering for gods if like to seek guidance from in that current point of my life
-what exactly does praying accomplish?

Dunno but life is good rn
-do you follow all the rules of your religion?

Ha, nopeee

hello !! here are some of my thoughts as a muslim

Q do you think religion should be taught from a young age ?

A ( for context ; i wasn´t raised religiously at all and i converted to islam about three years ago ) yes ! sharing your knowledge is a duty in my faith. i often wish i was raised islamically myself. especially hearing about the stories and lives of all the prophets and having our prophet as the most important rolemodel. also, of course, the fundamentals of the faith and all of the mesmerizing attributes and characteristics of our god.

Q should it be reinforced ?

A i think religion is important and it´s word should definitely be spread. most of the time it´s kinda tricky though, because religion being forced upon someone is not something i stand for and defeats it´s purpose. in conclusion, i would say it should be encouraged.

Q do you think your own religion is absolute ?

A i think my religion is perfect, timeless and the truth. however, the community lacks in many ways unfortunately.

Q does religion influence who you are as a person ?

A definitely ! it influences me every day in my life (& i am not even *that* practicing sadly) and is a major part of who i am as person, as it is my faith and my hope. it really changed my life. i quit many bad habits and finally gained a sense of purpose and meaning in life.

Q does religion play a role in your daily choices ?

A yes. it´s a big part of my moral compass ! many things i would do regardless of my religion, but there is also plenty of stuff that i use religion as guidance for or things i feel remorse for because of it.

Q does religion or your god/gods play a role in your choices ?

A similar to the previous answer.

Q do you think praying on a daily or weekly basis aids or strengthens your relationship with your god/gods/ religion ?

A it does. for us, praying is like meeting up with god and there are 5 distinct time frames for praying. i get periods in my life where i don´t miss a single prayer and others where i don´t pray at all. praying undoubtedly strenghtens my relationship to god and being obedient gives me more of a peace of mind.

Q what exactly does praying accomplish ?

A praying is our duty. praying gets us closer to god, gives us good deeds and benefits us in numerous ways both physically and especially mentally. this can also be very personal.

Q do you follow all the rules of your relgion ?

A i want to, but i fail to. it´s my goal to be a good muslim and act according to god´s rules. but we as humans are also made to be sinners and it´s nearly impossible to flawlessly perform your religion. But ! there is numerous stuff i have to & can do. All i can say is, i am trying but i am also weak to the worldly things.

note : english is not my first language ! sorry if i phrase stuff weirdly or my words sound shallow at times
