there's apparently a "loneliness epidemic" at the moment; more people now than ever before report feeling lonely, having few to no friends, not able to find a romantic partner, etc...
so, fellow spacehey friends, i just wanted to ask: do you feel lonely?

With the digital presence ever growing, it's easier to go through life without interacting with others. However at the same time, it's easier to find others online.
I'll agree it's easy to feel lonely if you don't put the effort in to chat / hang out with others.
Just got to make sure to hang out in person instead of being entirely online, which may be harder for some people.

Yes! Maybe is because of social media, i compare myself with other peoples life too much so i feel lonely compared to them but in reality i know im not, but i feel that way

I’m a sophomore currently I haven’t had a friend since 6th grade. The epidemic is actually real but it’s pretty chill.

It's so strange feeling so lonely when surrounded by others. These last couple of years I have been able to center myself and shake that feeling instead of letting it fester. I will say though, these last couple of months have gotten a bit worse, but I'm doing my best!
