Well as we know WWE was the only major wrestling promotion unless your cable company had AXS and NJPW was available. I knew WWE was not that great. Very predictable and repeatitive, but I continue to watch it out of habit and for lack of nothing else on. When AEW I didnt know a majority of the stars but it was the minor things that made me love it. The time limit, the ranking system. No authority figures and most importantly the matches was very different. Love AEW
