Changing the width of the main elements while keeping it centered?

I'm trying to extend the width of my layout to add more space, but when doing this, it extends everything to the right side and now looks off-centered. I sincerely cannot figure out how to make it so that it extends on both sides and stays in the center. What's the code for doing that?
