What was your first flat screen monitor, and when did you get it?

This is the first (maybe not exact) one that my dad bought for the family computer almost 8 years ago. Sure, it could only output 1280x1024 @ 75 Hz and was only 17 inches, but it was like $350 brand new back then and widescreen ones were even more expensive. The four reasons why I liked it were how lightweight it was, its thin bezels for the time, not having to degauss it, and it wouldn't cause that many headaches when using it. However, one thing that I didn't like about it is that there is no DVI port, only VGA; just like the CRT monitor that I had that died on me beforehand.

Now you can pretty much find them at local thrift stores for less than $20-$30.
