Journaling tips?!

You can really use whatever, but I suggest Canson notebooks!

Any size you find practical, really. But A5 is the standard.

As for materials, it's important you avoid graphite pencils so you don't fall in the temptation of erasing a lot and being a perfectionist.
Gel pens and ball point pens are great ways of sketching. Add watercolors too if you want color. I reccomend sets like these that are practical.

As well as a water brush since it's very practical to take around.



Don't get too obsessed about trying to make your journal not messy, because the point is to be messy and experiment. Don't trust people online who just post perfect looking pages.

A pen and a notebook. 

Just go HAM, there is no "right way".
