for about 2 years now, I've been having constant, and painful migraines. i've been put on two different medications since I've first been diagnosed: Naproxen, and Amitriptyline (which really messed me up for a while)
Since I'm a minor, i'm not taking any other prevention medication (i.e. Nurtec ODT)
if anyone else on this site gets them, let me know what you do to help ease/prevent them (if that's with, or without medication)
UPDATE (10.20.24):
a couple months ago, i visited this new doctor, and she had put me on this seizure medication which was supposedly useful for migraines. just like the amitriptyline, i had some nasty side effects. i got these nasty nosebleeds, usually out of both nostrils, and they would last for about an hour, maybe longer.
in the end, it never helped me, at all.
