Aba's Playlists

Not to be mean, but living in Halifax is so hard on me mentally. I can't lie, I'm a city girl after all, and I love to be social. I stay here for 6 months of the year when I'm not in Toronto where  have everything at my fingertips- hell even when Im in Milton. I can see my friends at the drop of a hat, I can go shopping at more than one mall in the same city, and most importantly I have the love of my friends and partner to keep me busy. 

Halifax has changed the way I love certain things, for example, grey days are a lot more depressing here than they are in Toronto. In Toronto when the sky is overcast, I have my creature comforts, the smells that enhance the monotony, and take it from a dark day to a gloomy motif that I can just relish in. In the city that I love (and not to sound corny), doing nothing in what feels like a very romantic gloom is one of my favourite past times. The issue is making grey days in Halifax feel the same, and honestly having what I like to call a "relishing" playlist is the very difference between a depressing day and a recharging musey day of romantic rot. 

Most of the songs in this playlist have  nice down tempo dreamy beats- they hang as heavy as the sky and honestly great music to accidentally fall asleep to! I named the playlist Something Is Not Right because I made it when I was so hungover on a grey day and I felt sick to the point that something felt sinister about my environment lol.
