Is Nintendo 3DS still worth it?

yup! i still use mine despite it being like 12 y/o (?)

its small, so its easy to take it to different places. I would recommend modding it or buying it modded (but modding it yourself is easy and more secure cause im paranoid like that lol) since the shop is closed down .

plus you wont have to spend so much money on the games :D

yeah definitely. i got mine second hand a couple years back for relatively cheap and it was worth it. has great backwards compatibility and modding support too. theres a lot you can do with a modded 3ds and theres some guides out there that make it fairly easy to do so id say go for it

Yup super worth it. Like others said before, homebrew is your best option here, as the 3DS online store is closing.
I personally feel much safer playing on a 3DS in public transportation than a Switch (it's smaller, doesn't call that much attention to it, and it's generally not that expensive).
Plus, with homebrew you can really play anything from GB, GBA, NDS and N3DS there so why not.

it is absolutely worth it, im not a computer genius but modding it was really easy and theres videos to help if you're like me and have to have a visual! all you need is a pretty large sd card, computer and a 2ds or 3ds ofc.
