"Geez, thats a heavy title."

Hello, how is it going? My name is Dylan. Like the title says, I'm very interested in meeting everyone no matter your background or beliefs.

First post here, but made the account a few weeks back after someone mentioned it on Reddit. MySpace was my first social network experience like many, and it absolutely blown my young mind. The complete customization is what got me hooked.

Here's some information about me: I'm 23 years old. I went to vocational school for software, website and mobile applications development during highschool and ended up easily reaching the top of my class. I had got accepted to the state competitions my second year where they give out scholarships for universities. Everyone was confident I would get 1st place...then it turned out I missed too much highschool to be eligible.

That's when I started drugs. From 18-23, i just went off the walls. Now, I've lost my lifelong best friends and my job due to those bad years. I've finally been sober for a little while now (5 months, minus my prescribed medications).

Now, I'm realizing I basically have 0 friends irl/url anymore, and so I figured I would explain my background and offer that I would love to become friends with anyone who might want to add me. I hope to meet a lot of you soon, fingers crossed.

Hope you all have a great day!
Best regards,
Dylan

Were they really friends? Accomplices, enablers, users. Good on you for cleaning up the machine. Can't wait to see what you make here, besides friends of course!

Good on you brother, being clean and sober is the best version of yourself. This happened to us for a bigger better picture. You haven't "lost friends" you learned lessons and have grown from them. A door closes and a new one opens. I'm in recovery too man, I know just how you feel. I'll definitely shoot you an add. Anything to help and be there for you man. We gotta stick together.

Hi; Dylan;

I’m a lot older than you (64) but I’ve tried most things, never got addicted.

I got tired of FB because of privacy issues, and just it seems no real emotions by people.

I do believe you are on the right path, and the best is yet to come.

Cheers,

Tedi from Atlanta.
