For a while now, I've been working on overhauling my site directory and spin it off as it's own website.
I'm calling it Blue Pages.
Now, the Blue Pages is designed like how physical Yellow Pages function and look like but for the old web.
This new concept of mine adapts the layout of those physical Yellow Books into the old web, and making it a site directory.
The difference between this and something like Google is that the Blue Pages purely sorts listings alphabetically and categorized, while search engines like Google rely on algorithms to show relevant content.
I'm still working on it, I'm mainly getting the layout right at the moment. My basis for the layouts are mainly the 1995-96 Ames White and Yellow Pages, with the Metro Manila Yellow Book Directory for August 2023 to July 2024 being a secondary one (as it was the most recent one I found locally).
It's on its infancy but I do accept your submissions for cool sites, or your own sites.
