I would really love some tips on how to be strong in terraria. I find it so hard to find lead and silver and gold in my world. My world is classic and large. I do have crimson and i forgot the name of the purple biome. I did find the alter but I am still scared to even summon the eye of cuthhulu . i am sure i buthered that name. I am a beginner as well and would just love to find out what else can be done in terraria.

If I remember all I ever did was just dig until I couldn't anymore. Also remember to build houses and what not for NPCs to move in. Just have fun with it! Try to dig far down too.

No problem also you willowt likely need the wiki to learn some stuff. Don't be shy to use it. It definitely will help you prep for the kind of crazier bosses later on.

as someone with 800hours in terraria my advice is to just make sure you do your prep before a boss then it wont be as difficult, use platforms to build a little arena, for the eye you can face it with just shurikans and a bit of armour and beat it fairly easy. just try to explore underground to find ores and chests, the accessories you find in chests make a huge difference to how strong your character is (think of all the things a double jump or faster running can save you from).
and dont forget potions too, they're really useful for boss fights that youre struggling with otherwise - some potion, like a spelunker potion can really help with mining and collecting resources too.

Hello! there are many ways to obtain ores easier. I would suggest digging straight down and using rope to go back up very fast. It is super efficient for finding caves and if you find caves, you find more ores just running around.
