i have no idea if anyone will ever reply to this since the last replies were from a year ago, but if anyone does... any thoughts on the new album?
i was pleasantly surprised with it. sounds like classic green day to me. my favourite track so far is "one eyed bastard", but other highlights for me are "goodnight adeline", "strange days are here to stay", "living in the 20s", and "fancy sauce".

This is definetly one of the better albums. You can tell that they wanted to go back their 2000's sound - and it slaps as hard as it did back then. Very happy to see green day finding their ground again, and I hope they keep experimenting without straying too away from their core formula. If they ever do something like Foxboro HotTubs again, I would dig it.

definitely was a come back from FOAMF.. a few repetitive tracks but they grew on me. wasnt a fan of fancy sauce at first but now its one of my favs. so glad rob cavallo produced this album and that the band is clean
