Thank you to anyone taking the time to read this! I will be using this Forum as a place to dump my mind's musing through sometimes ridiculous rhyme. I am open to any thoughts or feedback, though it is just for fun, nothing to take serious.

This one was inspired by a friend caught in a cycle of domestic abuse
Once upon a Cosmic Twist
I was Captured by your Kiss
Lost in Hopeful Love, I Fell
Without Control Under your Spell
Worse than Wrath or Eternal Sleep
Forced to Face an All-New Beast
An Adversary I Never Imagined
That Broke me Down
And Stole my Passion
Robbed me of my Own Self-Worth
Turned "Happy Ever After" into a Curse
Caught inside a Vicious Cycle
Where each day is a Struggle for Survival
You were supposed to be my King
I tried to give you Everything
I stood by your side when things got Tough
Yet you Drilled into my Mind I was Never Enough
Our Castle became my Prison
Charade Shattered and Exposed the True Villain
Left Fractured, Faced with the Conclusion
The person I Loved was only Illusion
What did I do to Deserve this Trouble,
Crying Alone amongst the Rubble
It's up to me to Clean this Mess
Reclaim the Power I once Possesed

~ Tale Untold ~
Standing Silent,
Frail and Cold.
Her story Forgotten,
And Tale Untold.
Her blue lips Quake,
A chattering sound.
She dully Wonders,
If she’ll ever be found.
She looks at the snow
So inviting and Pale
And mildly wonders,
If it could be real.
So unlike her Journey,
Not Cruel nor Vile.
Oh how could she resit,
To rest for a while.
Suddenly so Tired,
Unable to Stand,
Her little Knees Buckle,
Crumbling to the white covered land.
She wants to Sleep
But knows that Fate
She wouldn’t awake
No Escape.
Frozen tears stream down her face
A Tragic past she cannot erase
Lying alone,
She wonders Why?
Maybe it Would be better,
If she did just Die.
Always Alone.
With this in mind,
Her eyelids flicker closed
One Last Time.

I apologize in advance for the emo cringe. A lot of these were from my younger school years when my mental health was not in the best place.
~ Madness or Sanity~
Blood as Red as Lily’s White
Darkness Consuming the Sunshine’s Light
Lies and truth morph to One
The Battle over before it begun
Madness or Sanity?
Does it even Matter?
The end is inevitable
Death Claiming this Moment
And every one Thereafter.

My Aunt once complained that my poetry was too depressing and challenged me to write a poem with the words: Happiness, Sun, and Rainbow. This was my response
~ Where is Happiness Now?~
Where is the Sun
When Darkness ascends?
Hiding in Cowardice,
While our Misery never Ends.
Abandoned and Forgotten,
Yet Trying to stand Tall.
Where is Happiness Now?
Did it even exist at all?
What do you Do
When all you’ve ever Known,
Is a Web of Deceit and Lies,
From which Hatred was Sown.
Why do we even bother we this Brave faced Form?
It’s like waiting out in the Rain,
When there’s never a Rainbow after the Storm.
A Broken existence Is Doomed to us All.
Like trying to Crumble a Mountain
You know will never Fall.

This one was inspired by a toxic family member.
~ Between the Cracks~
Patterns and Cycles
Repeated so Long
Doomed to Continue
You're too Headstrong
Finding Comfort in the Chaos
Rationalizing what's Wrong
You're Stuck in your Ways
But I Refuse to Play Along
You Preach Peace,
But what do you Practice?
You're Bigoted towards LGBT
And view Women like a Misogynist
You've built up a Barrier inside your Brain
Blocking New Insight and Trapping the Pain
Constructed by "Fake News" and Alternative Facts
The person I love exists between the Cracks

Very beautiful. I can't break the chains of rhyme to save my life! Nicely done.
