around the start of this month i finally got cfw on my bbg n3DS XL, and while i adore playing 3DS + DS games, i wanna know if anybody has any recs for some good homebrew ports ? taking any and all really, im getting a bigger sd card in a week or two so im not gonna be too picky choosey . already snagged the FNaF 1-4 though lolz :3

not sure if this is considered homebrew, but since you own a 'new' model, you should try out the ps1 game ports (yes, playstation 1 games on the 3ds). Only issue is that there might be drops in FPS depending on which game it is :P .

only ps game port ive tried so far is lsd dream emulator, which yea asside from going at a snails pace is pretty nice . if youve got any specific recs im all earz :3

i remember playing the parapa the rapper port, the game ran fine besides the last level where the fps started tweaking out a bit.

i also have a cfw 3ds!! some of the games i snagged are rhythm heaven fever, i've seen doki doki literature club around, but i have no idea how functional it is.. if you have universal updater, they should have some pretty good ports as well :) i like to browse it when i'm bored.

i managed to find a port of classicube which is basically a minecraft reverse engineer thingy, it can run on almost any device you could ask for https://www.classicube.net/download/3ds

If you can download a ps1 emulator I defo recommend Silent hill 1, Hellnight or Dino Crisis. Just a bit of a warning these are horror games and fairly bloody. :3 (◕‿◕✿)
