Lonely

Hello to anyone that sees this :). I'm 44, single with 2 boy's. 10+ years ago (3/11/2011) I was in a motorcycle accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury, spent 3 weeks in a coma and 3 months in the hospital as well as 3 years in a wheelchair before I learned to walk again with a cane (things seem to happen in 3's). I'm still in awe at how much I've had to overcome in this time, learning to speak again, chew & swallow, balance, walk and at the same time how much info I retained. The brain damage has seemed to affect my motor skills but not my cognitive functions. Nonetheless lots of people disappeared from my life and a very limited number of friends have stuck around, however they have families and lives of their own so our interactions are few and far between.
