Since last November, the Houthis (a political and military organisation in control of most of Yemen) have been targeting ships headed towards Israel and have demanded that Israel allow humanitarian aid into Palestine, as well as called for the genocide against Palestine to cease. Due to this maritime trade has been disrupted, and in response the US and UK have begun launching strikes on Yemen.
