this is one of my friend's demos:

honestly, it's not the best but getting together and making a demo is no small feat, also the cover looks sick in my opinion

No friends to rep :( But I do have some albums from local bands that do not get enough attention.Β

Genfærd - Blodhævn: Catchy raw bm.

Ligfaerd - Dagen For Os - Natten For Eder: Aggressive and catchy.

Honorable mention: Ligæder - Den Tomme Menneskehed. They are more death metal-y. But I just think that the gen(færd), [lig](faerd) and [lig]æder sequence is funny yk. Also they slap.

And some non local stuff:

Wretched Empires - Bloom:Β I loooove this EP so much. It is always my go to when asked to recommend something lol. A blend between atmospheric, melodic, folky and raw bm. I guess?

Gasbrand - Dishonor, Madness and Calamity: This is apparently considered dsbm?? But I promise it does not suffer from the genericness that dsbm sometimes falls victim to.

Vandal -Β εœ°β€‹η„β€‹ε€‰ /Β Jigokuhen: Really like this album. Always a struggle to look it up tho (a lot of artists with the name Vandal exist)

I hope those weren't too "mainstream" lol - underground police please don't attack me.

My cohost used to play in Dreadeth, a Pittsburgh based Black Metal band. They're defunct now, but they were worth it. I filmed these clips back in 2014. My cohost is on bass.
