Does anyone not care about almost anything in the world?

I often find myself being uninterested in many things around the world with a selected group of exceptions. What I mean by this is that when people talk about a TV Show, I just stand there having no clue nor care about what is being discussed. This is a sign of my autism because what I know, we don't care much about what is going on or what is trending in societies. We just march to the beat of our own drums and do whatever rocks our boats by focusing on our fixations and interests.

Autistic or not? Does anyone else feel this way? What do you care and not care about in life and the world?

I'm autistic too and relate to this. My mind is just blank when people talk about things I don't care about and I have no desire to try to get into anything new. I know what I like and don't like and I don't care if you like it and think I should get into whatever just for that reason. Things being popular has no effect on me too, like I said I know what I like, being popular doesn't change that.

Idk if I have autism, but Im neurodivergent, so I guess I share something with autistic people. Normally when I tell people that my mind is blank they answer that it is usually impossible for them, what do they think about all the time then? I dont even need to have something in my head to think about. I dont usually have much interest in things or do things out of interest, I just do it

I don't care about the stupid modern world in which we live in, but I am obsessed with the 2000s (also the 90s to a lesser extent). Looking back, I've pretty much always been this way, rawr. I don't really care about whether the things I like are considered popular or not because all that matters is that I like it (though it would be nice if clothing and shit from the 2000s was easier to find).

And yes, I'm on the spectrum as well, so that probably explains my love and obsession for a lot of things (including the 2000s) as well as my resistance towards conformity.<3
