Brand accounts?

I keep seeing these brand accounts for random pharmaceutical companies or whatever in the cool new people section. At first, I thought these were just random scams, but now I'm starting to think these are, like, legit companies. But either way, why do these keep showing up?

Weather or not they're scams aside, what are people's thought on brand accounts on SpaceHey? What if a big company like Dominos' or McDonald's created accounts for SpaceHey? I'd think that would suck, because part of the appeal of SpaceHey is that it's kind of a niche community, and it's no infested with corporate shills like YouTube or Instagram.

So, yeah, the point of this thread is to hopefully figure out the deal is with these brand accounts, and weather or not stuff like that belongs here.

I think brand accounts suck mega balls, the corporations encroaching on every tiny bit of our lives is draining my soul.

if brand accounts kept popping up and started to use this on the regular I
think it would SUCK. this is a space for conversation not business
exchange.

can you imagine being excited to see who your new friend request was from only to see it was from lockheed martin and 50 other bajillion brand accounts trying to spread their influence? It would be a damn nightmare!

I'm seeing a lot more brand accounts pop up during noon (UK time) and it's pissing me off.


glad to see I'm not the only one getting angry at the corporate invasion taking place tho!
