Xbox 360 - is it possible to repair the old consoles so it's possible to play them over and over again?

A tech thing.

I'm wondering if it's possible to save Xbox 360 consoles so it would be possible to gave them to the future generations? Is it possible to save all the game discs released during Xbox 360 lifespan? If there any way to make your own online service for modded console so we can play Halo 3 matchmaking, for example?

I don't know about making your own servers but the more physical copies of games you can get your hands on the better the chance they survive. You just have to take good care of your stuff and it should last a very long time.
