in '84. imo the first grindcore band, and certainly the first with this amount of energy and live presence. this is one of my favorite live sets ever. kind of in response to all of the straight edge stuff that was going on in boston at the time. i hear that seth putnam did vocals for a bit, but i haven't come across any recorded material

I absolutely adore seige theyre one of my favorite bands of all time. Personally i consider them as the first powerviolence but i see what you mean. imo Ent is the first grind band but seige is absoluetly awesome
