Upcoming shows

Well my city’s scene has no emo/hardcore scene which it kinda blows but I’m planning of starting a emocore band with my friends pretty soon. Also !! I might go to a shoe gaze show on Wednesday with a friend:)

Here in SoCal, people are pretty damn into beatdown hardcore and I think mince-core(?).  The only "emoh" scene here is some beatdown band that happens to like Orchid or Pg.99

I don't know about other cities in SoCal but LA does have a little skramz wave going, I don't know if you'd call it a scene because it's small but it's definitely there, off the top of my head bands like Quiet Fear, Knumears, Ghost Spirit, Lagrimas (I guess technically a crust band but definitely has old school screamo elements) are all active and making awesome stuff

And all of these bands are great and worth checking out

I definitely love tough guy moshcore music too, I kind of just love all hardcore haha but I've had a particular love for screamo and emoviolence bands lately

how i found out abt majority of local shows in different regions was by following booking accounts on instagram. this is how i also found out abt new bands and different venues as well. im currently getting higher education in a different state from my hometown, but following booking accounts got me into the scene im currently in.

im not in the Socal scene, rather im in the new england scene and currently cruising around different subscenes around the area. Bands from this scene that i recommend and seen multiple times live are Catalyst, Necralant, Fishface, Devitalized, Hysteria, and Choke Out :) if you catch these amazing ppl on a flyer or bill, i would highly recommend going to that. 

Basically trying to create an emo scene locally. Play in a band called sulfur and my label unfettered heart is putting out some cool stuff soon and trying to book some shows.
