Trilobites

Have you ever realised that Trilobites are some of the most curious animals on Earth? Think about it, for basically half of Earth's history those little things were walking the surface, surviving until the Late Permian. I'd call them one of the most successful animals to ever have lived, considering just how long they were able to hold out.

They also look pretty cool, I mean, just look at this thing:

It's also important to point that, for the most part, Trilobites stuck to the same basic design. That shows you just how good their design was.
