The Book Ring is a sort of club/community! It is a webring and directory for people who love books, love reading books, love sharing books, love writing books, and everything in-between.
What is a 'webring', you ask? In a nutshell, a webring is a community of links generally based around a specific theme (for this ring specifically, it's for the bookish community). Members of the webring put a button on their website, and the button navigates visitors to other members' websites whom are also part of the webring. Eventually as visitors navigate through the ring, they will end up back to the same website they started at. It's a great way for ring members to gain and share traffic, a great way for readers and writers in the book community to discover each other and make new friends as well.
In addition to the webring, The Book Ring website also contains a member directory! The member directory has several details about each of our members, including their name, favorite book genres, website links, social card link, and RSS feed link! The directory page also tells you which sites are NSFW and which ones are.
