This has happened with other services as well.
What is happening is that sites like Imgur have recently imposed a maximum limit on the number of times an IP can request something. SpaceHey has a proxy on all media to prevent a malicious user from doing something like self-hosting an image and collecting the IP address of every user who views their page, however this come with the drawback that a site like Imgur sees this as a single IP address making hundreds of thousands of requests per day.
Since Imgur limits how many times an IP can make a request, it cuts Spacehey off after a certain point.
They aren't really meant to be used like that in the first place, their TOS is pretty clear that you shouldn't use them as a hosting service (although they've been letting people do it for years, it's kinda shitty to suddenly start enforcing that).
Try using NeoCities, they're an actual hosting service. Upload the images there and update the links on your profile and you should be good to go
