does anyone know how 2 install them... do i just make the mods folder and put the package files in there? some websites say i have 2 download something BUT THE DL LINK IS BROKEN... is it rlly needed?

  1. make a folder in your Documents/Electronic/The Sims 3 folder called Mods
  2. make two folders in your Mods folder called Packages and Overrides
  3. download resource.cfg from here and put it into your Mods folder
  4. unless stated otherwise, mods will typically go to your Packages folder unless stated otherwise
