I've always loved it from a distance, but was never able to get into it myself.  Every time I tried to, I'd feel out of place x_x  Which is unfortunate because my husband who never let go of the aesthetic said it would have been perfect for me.

I was emo when I was 14 now I'm almost 18 and scene and I personally i just love it and I'm so happy I got to discover more of it in order to dress like it (I had been listening to scene music for 4 years thinking it was "hyperpop")

I love scemo and emo music and aesthetics. I always listened to the music, but due to circumstances in my life at the time I couldn't dress like it. Finally starting to dress the way I want at almost 30. Scemo and emo friend requests welcomed. My favorite "emo" (apparently as a music genre technically emo means something else then the common association, I'm using it in the colliquial sense) is My Chemical Romance.

hiiiya :3 i really like the scene/emo style, i've been wanting to get into it since i was like 12, now i'm 16 turning 17 and i've just started to sort of embrace it. ( even though i've always been "alternative" in a way .. ) but it's so hard to find good clothes here in norway :( thrift stores suck here. but yeah! hii!!!
