I'm like, really late to this discussion but I'm here now. First, your vocals in your band Bulk are pretty good! I wish to be able to do the false chords one day. 
Anyways, here's the band I'm currently focusing on with a warning: Most of our stuff is uhh... rough to say the least. But we both (it's just me on bass and vocals and my guitarist who also does drums and mixes/masters) have been getting better since when we started; last year.
