Hey y'all. What's up. I'm not sure how to post pics but I just wanted to chime in and say that i am 5 months into my journey. I started with two-strand twists and i'm still. Not. Locced. :(. I have SOME budding but chile--it's getting to me. So i picked up a new loc gel today and last month i started retwisting every 2 weeks. Also i got a crotchet needle to try and bring in some of the loose pieces i have.
Anyone have any more advice that i haven't mentioned? My hair type is 4c so i was positive it wouldn't take this long. This is a huge lesson in patience for me. Sheesh.
Side note: Admin, your locs are gorgeous. Seeing mature locs like those is a big part of what inspired me to start my journey. Black is beautiful!
