Poetry Recommendations ?

I have been looking for more poetry that isn't so surface level like Pillow Talk or The Sun and Her Flowers, can anyone help ? I love good, deep, romance poetry, anything eye opening, or philosophical.

Dive into the chaos of Ginsberg's "Howl" for a mind-altering journey. Embrace the existential with Bukowski's "Love is a Dog From Hell." Find solace in the simplicity of Mary Oliver's "Wild Geese." Another venture could be T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land," a masterpiece of modernist poetry that delves into the fractured nature of contemporary existence. Explore the chaos in words.

One of my favourite poems ever is "You are Jeff" by Richard Siken. I also love the book On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, he writes so incredibly beautifully.

Ohh, I've got some classics for you on this one:

The Passing Strange - John Masefield

The Chariot - Emily Dickinson

Ecce in Deserto - Henry Augustin Beers

Solipism - George Santayana

Fire and Ice - Robert Frost

Invictus - William Ernest Henley

I Will Not Let Thee Go - Robert Bridges

When We Two Parted - Lord Byron

An Opium Fantasy - Maria White Lowell

Immortality/"Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep" - Clare Harner

Those are just a few of my classic favorites from the 30s/40s from an old book I've thumbed through too many/not enough times🖤
