personally, megadeth has my vote. i can respect both bands, i just prefer megadeth. lars is honestly a mess of a drummer, david ellefson is an insanely good bass player (not discrediting robert trujillo or cliff burton though, of course), the guitar work and solos are much more impressive in megadeth than in metallica, and i think that dave mustaine is a better singer.

don't get me wrong, megadeth has had their lows. super collider, risk, and th1rt3en were all kinda weak in my opinion. they just made some mistakes though, and really, they've pumped out more good music than metallica (and they're consistent with doing it!!).

i prolly won't judge you by whatever you say, but i'd like to hear people's opinions.
