Our education is a fundamental guarantee of the direction our lives might take. A lot of pressure is put on young children to get on programme with the school curriculum regardless of their racial background. This is essentially the first barrier to some to achieving any thing in their pursuits, and the place where lots of children are lost, from the point of their being interested in what is being taught.
I had my struggles, but with the careful assistance of my aunt, I achieved enough to be able to get a university education, and to become a creative person in life.
