I may see La Bande Son-Imaginarie next weekend, I thought they were french, but actually theyre from my country, I love them sm. 

I rlly need more recommendations like La Bande! I think the darkscene here its like a whole world apart, I want to learn more about the mexican dark/cold/newave, it would be awesome if you guys share what u know abt it!

Don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I know a lot of Mexican-American bands/artists that are currently making waves in the goth scene rn. They sometimes tour to Mexico too!

Some are a little on more on the post-punk side of things and have less of a synth-y sound like La Bande, but they're still worth a listen.

  • French Police
  • Blood Club
  • THE MASQS
  • Zemmoa (I'm pretty sure she's based in Mexico and has some new wave/darkwave music, check out "Vuela Mas Alto" and "Mi Amor Soy Yo")
  • Lust Era
  • Vestron Vulture (He's the closest to what you're looking for -- he's from Monterrey and makes some really top tier darkwave)
  • Twin tribes
