Saw and Genloss simlarities

I've been watching the Saw movies recently and i've started to pick up some similarities and references between the two and i'm wondering if anyone else has picked on some?

The ones i've seen are from the first with Amanda had to open the cellmates stomach in Saw 1 like how Ranboo had to open Charlies stomach, and in the carousel in Saw 6 and the carousel from the second Genloss ep
